The Tourism and Hospitality Sector is reopening, under Government guidelines, on Saturday 4th July 2020.
Attractions have made changes to their venues in order to minimise the risk of transmissions of COVID-19, to keep their staff and customers safe. These changes may include limited capacity, new booking systems and one-way systems in place. Therefore, it is important you know before you go and check each website before your visit.
WATERWAYS
Union Wharf is located in the attractive and historic market town of Market Harborough. The Wharf is at the terminus of the canal close to Foxton Locks and the historic Incline Plane. Hire a boat from Union Wharf for Boutique Narrowboats, family holidays and day trips.
The iconic Foxton Locks is home to a flight of ten staircase locks, which are the longest and steepest staircase locks in the UK. Here you can also find the remains of the inclined plane, a magnificent piece of Victorian engineering. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the canal, stop for a picnic or hire a day boat.

Nevill Holt presents six concerts in the gardens on the 29 August, 5 and 12 September. Two performances will take place on each date. Reflecting NHO’s commitment to the most talented up-and-coming young singers, each concert will feature at least five of NHO’s Young Artists.
During each visit, which will last for two and a half hours hours, audience members will be able to enjoy the 45-minute outdoor performance, explore the sculpture in the beautiful gardens, and purchase delicious locally-sourced food and drink.

The 18th century walled garden to Wistow Hall and fine Listed Vinery has been used as a Plant Nursery for several decades and is now home to Wistow Rural Centre, an enchanting hub hosting Ken Bailey Garden Centre, Wistow Cafe/Bistro, Mediterranean Deli/Farm Shop, a quaint Model Village, Wistow Art Gallery and shops selling women’s clothing, jewellery, furniture, home fragrances, dog accessories and gifts galore, all in beautiful surroundings.
